The Soterix "2×1s" (one active two return) tsDCS stimulators are very simple to use, precise, reliable, and are the only clinical stimulators designed especially for tsDCS.

The Soterix 2×1s tsDCS stimulators allow simple selection of:

  • 4 current settings (up to 5.6 mA)
  • 4 duration settings (up to 20 minutes) with count-down clock display
  • Optional sham feature

2×1s tsDCS Stimulator Features

SMARTscan Provides a continuous visual indication of electrode quality before and during stimulation.
TRUE CURRENT Clearly indicates the actual current supplied at the moment.
TICKLE May be used to supply a very weak current prior to tsDCS to help condition the skin.
RELAX Allows the clinician to use a simple sliding bar to transiently decrease the current from the pre-set value, for example based on subject feedback.
  • tsDCS can be simply configured with one center anode and two return cathodes, or one center cathode and two return anodes
